The Trainer III acts as a resource for various Wyndham Consumer Finance Departments. This is a very collaborative role that requires cross functional partnership to all areas of Wyndham Destinations. The Trainer III supports multiple brands with respect to new and existing products, that impact Consumer Finance.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support Instructional Design efforts across multiple departments.

  • Contribute content for Online Learning Center across multiple brands (learning tools such as webinars, videos, tutorials, quizzes, etc, validates content, and works with business partners on editing content for publication).

  • Assist with creating and editing pages in learning management system and upload content changes to be published (technical).

  • Ensure the successful delivery of learning and development through the use of effective facilitation skills including presentations, lectures, role-play, group discussions and challenging/thought provoking questions and strategies to engage the learner and encourage participation.

  • Project Management: Act as project manager in support of educational initiatives specific to program launches, enhancements or utilization activities.

  • Create and manage project plans; define scope of work requirements; influence decision makers; ensure project deadlines are met by all involved parties. All aspects mentioned include design, development and delivery of training using Adult Learning principles. Experience with Learning Content Management systems a plus.

  • Communications: Manage training materials and assist content staff in writing educational communications and approving engagement content.

  • Schedule meetings for telephone and web conferencing Create meeting summaries to distribute to team members for updates Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Four year college degree in business, education or a related field, or equivalent experience

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with partners to accomplish goals

  • Excellent organizational skills and follow through

  • Demonstrated commitment to HEART service culture

  • Experience with Adult Learning and Design Principles

  • Independent performer who has impeccable work ethic and sense of responsibility

  • Strong time management skills

  • Ability to see past obstacles and find solutions

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite of products (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Acrobat, Captivate, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign)

  • Working Knowledge of Project management Software – (i.e. SmartSheet)

Job experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in hospitality, preferably in the timeshare industry

  • Four years of project management experience

  • Four years of training design experience

  • 1 year experience working in hospitality, preferably in the timeshare industry

  • 1 year training experience

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
