The Senior International Tax Analyst (Hybrid) is responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks to provide support and coordination of the Tax Department. The role will include the organization of accounting data, the preparation and review of various workpapers, computations, preparation of journal entries, and account reconciliations.
The Senior Tax Analyst role will report to the International Tax Manager and will assist in the preparation of U.S. international tax reporting, including compliance and public company reporting, tax provisions, and disclosures. The role will also include special projects as needed, as well as assistance with domestic provision and tax compliance as needed.
How You'll Shine
Assist with the organization and management of the foreign component of the tax provision, including provision estimates, deferred tax reconciliations, and return to provision.
Assist with the preparation and calculation related to the tax consequences of GILTI, FDII, Subpart F and Foreign Tax Credits.
Assist in the preparation and review of local jurisdiction tax filings, including USVI (1120/1120-F), Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Assist in the review of 5471’s, 8865’s, 8858’s, 5472’s and other US federal foreign informational forms.
Assist in the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, and other miscellaneous tasks at the need of the department. Respond to and assist with IRS and foreign notices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in accounting required
Masters in Tax or Accounting with an emphasis on Tax Preferred
CPA preferred but not required
Experience with international tax compliance, especially GILTI, foreign tax credit, Subpart F, FDII calculations and foreign informational disclosure forms (5471, 8865, 8858, and 5472) reporting. (Preferred)
Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions
Strong base skills in accounting (debits and credits)
Good interpersonal skills. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
Superior problem-solving skills - must be resourceful and creative with solutions
Proficient with excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF formulas.
PeopleSoft/Oracle general ledger software (preferred).
OneSource Tax Provision software (preferred).
2-4 years of public accounting experience, or
2-5 years of experience in general corporate income tax and accounting environment (public company preferred).
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
