Alliance Reservations Network (ARN) is a travel technology company that provides private-label travel booking engine solutions. ARN turnkey, private-label booking platforms with highly customizable features empower its partners to standout from the competition by offering unique benefits to their audience. Built around a powerful private-label hotel booking engine, Group Productivity Solution (GPS) efficiently manages the lifecycle of hotel booking with fast RFP submissions, reservations, room block management, invoicing and reporting.
The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting and generating sales for our event housing technology, Group Productivity Solution (GPS). Is passionate about innovative technology and its impact on the customer. Is adept at establishing and maintaining relationships to retain/grow an existing book of business, striving every day to exceed customer expectations, specifications, and objectives while upholding quality standards.
The Account Executive will drive sales through a variety of channels including tradeshows, solicitation, and inbound leads. Will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals. The Account Executive will work closely with the Marketing, Business Development, and Software Engineers to ensure that all products reflect the needs of both Alliance Reservations Network and the customer.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Grow revenue through prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing event management clients
Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets
Managing perspective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
Providing a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
Conducting one-on-one and groups sales presentations and GPS demos
Stay abreast of current and emerging market trends
Tracking customer information, forecasts, and reports in CRM
Developing and maintaining prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads
Planning and strategizing marketing activities with the General Manager and Marketing team for the end users and channels
Travel Requirements
Travel requirements can vary based on business need. On average, the travel time expectation for this position is up to 35% each year.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
CRM experience, HubSpot or Salesforce preferred
Job experience
3+ years of sales experience with a track record of stability and success
Technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies
Proof of previous sales performance
SaaS sales experience is preferred
Excellent time management skills
Success in an outbound call environment
Self-directed and motivated to exceed goals
Experience selling into the event industry vertical is a plus
Experience with sales presentations within a technology environment a plus
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
