The Manager, Financial Planning Systems, is responsible for maintaining and updating the financial planning systems for the Vacation Ownership and Corporate operations for both the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles. This includes overseeing the preparation and review of all related Sarbanes Oxley documentation and ensuring that the financial planning systems are designed appropriately and executing in accordance with the design. This position will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate execution of these financial processes in close collaboration with respective team members of the business unit financial teams as well as with IT. A high level of customer service to the user group population is required. The Manager, Financial Planning Systems, will also be a key team member from time to time as projects are undertaken to upgrade the financial planning systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the monthly forecasting process from a financial systems perspective for the Vacation Ownership business segment and Corporate operations. This will include close collaboration with business segment leadership, the loading of actual results into the Oracle Planning system, the loading of forecast information into the consolidation system, as well as documenting reconciliations for all loads.
Lead the annual budgeting process from a financial systems perspective for the Vacation Ownership business segment and Corporate operations. This will include close collaboration with systems users, ensuring that identified users are provided access to the necessary systems and are appropriately trained. Duties should be performed with focused attention on high quality customer service to ensure that users are prepared to complete their assignments in the budgeting process.
Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley internal control design. Ensure that the impact on internal controls is considered for any potential or actual changes to financial planning systems structures or processes and management is made aware and approves of such changes. This will include the preparation and review of adequate documentation to support the Company’s assertion that the internal controls are design appropriately and working as designed.
Collaborate with other leaders within the financial systems and IT teams to execute the strategy for T+L Co.’s financial systems. This will include managing resources to ensure that financial systems are designed to report operations accurately and efficiently. It will also include performing the necessary maintenance on systems to ensure the structure is up to date at all times.
Coaching and developing one direct report including formal objective setting, performance reviews and providing ongoing and regular feedback.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems preferred)
Training requirements
Proficient with developing and maintaining Hyperion Planning applications and databases, including managing security roles
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft general ledger, Hyperion Essbase applications and databases, SmartView, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Knowledge and skills
Ability to support the planning systems’ user environment with a high degree of customer service
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Strong time management skills and organizational skills
Ability to recruit, train and motivate talent to deliver excellent results
Strong problem solving abilities
Strong writing skills including systems project plans and training manuals
Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills
Demonstrates an ability to maintain professional composure and poise
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of planning applications
Functional working knowledge of general ledger and consolidation applications
Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Job experience
5 years relevant systems experience
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
