As a Senior Business Operations Analyst for Revenue Management at Travel + Leisure this person will be responsible for leveraging data, leading fellow team members in building forecasts and partnering with leadership to create innovative solutions that impact the overall business. This team creates and distributes data surrounding trends, market conditions and any external influences for assigned geographic region(s)/territories. This individual will help lead large scale projects and initiatives including historical trend analyses to drive profit. They will also act proactively to mitigate risk related to resort occupancy across multiple territories.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Synthesize data between multiple systems and reports into a digestible format
Identify and help team to quantify business impacts for unforeseen barriers
Formally present recommendations based on data analysis to meet revenue goals
Foster productive relationships with field and corporate business partners on a daily basis
Deliver outstanding customer service and help ensure all department service level agreements are met
Identify opportunities and solutions to increase efficiencies and execute change within the team
Forecast short and long term impacts to assigned territories
Lead and implement system enhancements related to new business needs/activities
Understand and help provide training on varied business models
You will partner with: Resort Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Corporate Business
Examples of projects: Leading strategies to fill our resorts to drive profitability and acting as team representative in high visibility projects
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
Knowledge and Skills
Self-motivated and flexible to shifting priorities
Exceptional interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Influence peers to be creative thinkers/problem solvers
Detailed oriented and able to multi-task
Ability to drive change with internal team and business partners
Advanced Excel skills (i.e. basic formulas, vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
Three (3) years forecasting or revenue management in a multi-property environment; Time Share, Hotel or Travel Industry experience preferred.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
