Wyndham Destinations is searching for a Senior Accounting Clerk in Orlando, FL. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and timely performance of various assigned functions in support of the Resort Renovation and Design accounts payable process. This position supports the department by ensuring the timely payment of invoices and by timely entering project information into the project management system. This position will also be involved in special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and other requests.
This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.
How You'll Shine:
Timely and accurate payment of invoices in accordance with company and department guidelines
Timely and accurate input of new projects and contracts into the project management system
Assist with various special projects as needed and perform other miscellaneous clerical and accounting-related tasks
Ensures management is appropriately notified of accounting, internal control, and business issues as they develop in order to devise timely & appropriate action plans.
Performs other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
Associate’s Degree in Accounting
2-3 years in an accounting environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills (function formulas, pivot tables, linked spreadsheets)
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to work and communicate with customers at all levels
PeopleSoft Accounts Payable experience preferred
Hospitality and/or Construction experience a plus
