Supporting the organization to deliver best-in-class software and the highest business value as fast as possible, the Agile Coach will assist multiple teams to adapt and implement Agile principles and practices effectively. You will empower Travel + Leisure Co. Network delivery teams to collaborate and make effective decisions, driving adaptive planning practices, innovative development, early delivery and continuous improvement. You will also champion teams to respond to changing stakeholder needs and assist the teams to adjust priorities as needed.

As an Agile coach you will focus your efforts on the following key activities:

  • Educate teams, leaders and business partners about Agile values, principles, process and tools
  • Create and maintain training content
  • Schedule & facilitate workshops including delivery team onboarding & re-set sessions etc.
  • Conduct post training evaluation to drive continuous improvement
  • Track and report on all knowledge and capability development activities
  • Actively support ongoing knowledge capability efforts such as online forums, content management activities and communities of practice


  • Support the professional development of team members and other expert roles such as scrum master, product owner and leaders by walking them through how to put agile principles and practices into place based on your prior experience and extensive knowledge of effective approaches

Facilitation and Coaching to Drive High Value Results and Continuous Improvement

  • Empower teams to discover issues and opportunities to deliver improved customer value
  • Guide individuals and teams to discover answers and alternative solutions/approaches to continuously deliver software solutions
  • Coach teams and other roles to create and prioritize their product backlog, user stories, size stories and duration of releases

Customer and Continuous Improvement Advocate

  • Champion the voice of the customer and the feedback loop , continuously provide an organizational voice urging and driving continuous improvement and cultural change
  • Customer relationships: Advise and collaborate with business and IT leadership
  • Thought leadership: collect and disseminate organizational and industry good practices and lessons learned. Advocate for Agile approaches to getting work done and delivering business results.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean or a related agile discipline/practice
  • Focus on working with end users to deliver business value early
  • Iterative and incremental delivery
  • Emergent design and architecture
  • Automated unit, integration, and acceptance testing
  • Continuous integration, continuous build and automated deployment
  • Coach and facilitate others to adapt agile practices
  • Facilitation and training design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or at least 1 year of experience as an Agile Coach with group training experience preferred
  • 2 years of Scrum Master experience or equivalent
  • Experience with processes and tools that support Agile practices
  • Facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile Certifications (CSM, CSC, etc.)
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Hospitability experience
  • Participation in industry Agile communities
