The Activations Team Lead is responsible for driving reservations, tours, and revenue growth. This role involves leading a team of sales agents, ensuring high performance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
How You'll Shine:
• Lead and mentor a team of activation sales representatives, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the reservations process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor customer service standards and practices, ensuring consistent high-quality service across all channels (phone, email, chat, etc.).
• Develop and deliver impactful customer service and sales training programs to equip team members with the knowledge and skills necessary to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
• Proactively identify and address customer concerns, escalating complex issues and working with relevant departments to find solutions.
• Analyze customer feedback, data, and trends to identify opportunities for service improvement and process optimization.
• Implement new initiatives and tools to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and boost team productivity.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect.
• Manage workload and schedule team members to ensure adequate coverage and meet departmental goals.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue through effective sales techniques and promotions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Maintain detailed records and reports on team performance and customer interactions.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service and implement them within the team.
What You'll Bring
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
• Must have a minimum High School Diploma or GED
Training requirements
• Successful completing of on boarding training
• All associates are responsible for ensuring that they remain up to date on all required courses.
• Participate in coaching sessions.
Knowledge and skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong client, customer service focus
• Sales minded professional (hospitality, sales, call center, server, or marketing experience)
• Ability to overcome objections, strong closing skills.
• Ability to work in a goal and performance-based environment.
• Deliver on the Wyndham promise.
Technical Skills
• MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
Job experience
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a call center environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership position.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
