Wyndham Vacation Club (WVC) is searching for a Financial Analyst II in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid position -3 days in the office/ 2 days remote.
The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for providing Senior Executives with the necessary insights for enacting critical business decisions. Design, develop and maintain key performance metrics. Review loan portfolio position and trends. Support and partner with the finance leadership in the execution and sustainability of operational processes with the objective to improve overall company performance. This position interacts with Senior Management daily and must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyze risk in the loan portfolio including, originations trends, consumer behavior analytics and loan performance
Present findings and make recommendations to senior management to execute viable decisions
Develop predictive models in the areas on loan performance and guest behavior
Facilitate financial reporting associated with audits and our servicer relationships
Facilitate automation for key processes and reporting. Promote innovative ways to visualize complex data.
Provide departmental subject matter expertise for the documentation and implementation of new processes and technology rollouts
Research and generate market share insights
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and other reporting as assigned
Partner with other departments within the organization for the development and execution of cross-departmental initiatives
Travel Requirements
This position will support Wyndham Consumer Finance (WCF) operational departments in both Orlando and Las Vegas and may be required to travel minimally to the non-resident location.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics from an accredited four-year institution.
MBA Preferred
Qualifications
Systematic problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with senior management and peers
Advanced technical skillset including:
MS Applications
Advance understanding and experience working with relational databases
Query and Data Visualizations
Financial modeling
Consumer behavior predictive modeling
Demonstrate success in managing multiple projects within strict deadlines.
