The Treasury and Account Payables Information Systems Analyst reports to the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at Travel + Leisure Co. Corporate.  This position serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on systems, reporting, data and tools used by the Treasury Operations & Accounts Payable organizations including: Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS), bank portals, data analytics tools which may include Alteryx and/or Microsoft Power Suite.  This role coordinates with IT Financial Systems on relationship bank, TMS, and ERP integration projects, and as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer may act as Project Manager on certain Treasury or Accounts Payable related systems projects.  The Analyst assists with resolving technical issues related to end-user functionality, leveraging technology to streamline processes and create efficiencies, and analyzing data to generate and maintain Treasury and Accounts Payable KPIs, metrics, and dashboards. Finally, the Analyst acts as functional backup support for certain Corporate Treasury daily cash management and payments activities. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

How You'll Shine:

  • Identifies opportunities for Treasury daily Cash Management and Payments process improvements and report automations and serves as subject matter expert of Kyriba TMS with regards to all functions and modules, monitors and understands TMS functionality upgrades and applicability.

  • Provide project management over certain projects, as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer, including:  Kyriba TMS, bank products implementation and bank platform upgrades from design to implementation, including testing scenarios.

  • Serves as subject matter expert for report and process automations managed through the TMS and other technology tools.

  • Actively networks with other departments and business units to achieve common goals, solve issues and implement Treasury, banking, and Accounts Payable related process improvements.

  • Writes and maintains procedures for all automations and reporting processes.

  • Maintains schedule of KPI and metrics reviews with Assistant Treasurer and Directors.

  • Assumes accountability for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the data within the Kyriba TMS database and the reporting generated from the Kyriba TMS and data warehouse tools.

  • Responsible for technology and processes around monthly Treasury, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and T&E card program KPIs and dashboards as well as producing ad hoc metrics.

  • Successfully complete end-user and advanced Kyriba TMS training coursework to become departmental SME in primarily Kyriba’s cash, payments, financial transactions and reporting modules. Share knowledge and conduct “train the trainer” sessions with Corporate and HOA Treasury associates when needed.

  • Cross-train with Treasury associates and serve as backup in the following areas:

    • Bank administration activities in banking portals and Kyriba TMS.

    • Daily cash management activities including daily cash positioning and wire payments.

  • Bank Fee Account Analysis reporting and fee allocations. Develop and maintain bank fee analysis KPI dashboards and employ tools to systematically analyze account analysis statements to identify opportunities for bank fee savings and overcharges.

  • Assists with enforcing Treasury and Payables controls and policies, bank platform administration, user access, user administration and entitlement reports and P-card and AMEX card administration reporting.

  • Assists with developing reporting to analyze and identify potential payments fraud, and weaknesses in our bank accounts and account services posture.

  • Minimal travel, 5% or less, by attending 3-4 specific vendor and industry group conferences annually to stay up to date on Treasury and Accounts Payable best practices, emerging technologies, new functionality and/or to receive training.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field if coupled with 2+ years relevant Treasury and/or information system implementation project experience.

  • CTP, CPA or other Finance, or other information systems certifications a plus.

  • Active pursuit of learning from Kyriba and data analytics/reporting tool communities.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, organize and present data in a succinct and easily consumable format. 

  • Organized, self-confident to make thoughtful decisions and recommendations in a time sensitive environment. 

  • Ability to build maintain relationships across departments and external partners to ensure consistent communication and understanding of goals and requirements. 

  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills to successfully evaluate economic and financial data.

  • Ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional projects, with demonstrated project management skills including ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Working knowledge of global cash management, payments, and general treasury principles and best practices. 

  • Practical knowledge working with treasury management systems and online platforms, preferred.

  • Intermediate to Advance experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Previous experience with data warehousing, reporting overlay, database management software such as Snowflake, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Suite, SQL, or similar tools.

  • 2-4 years of Treasury, Banking, Financial/Information Systems or related professional experience is required.

  • 2 years concurrent project management or systems implementation experience strongly preferred.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
