Alliance Reservations Network, a Panorama company, is one of the largest travel technology booking engine providers in the world. Their inventory includes over 600,000 hotel and resort properties worldwide, along with air, car rental, cruise, activity and weekly rental inventory. What you can expect:

As Project Manager for Alliance Reservations Network, you will lead cross-functional teams to successfully complete assigned projects and facilitate resolution of problems/issues that arise during projects. As the primary go-to person for various aspects of a project’s management, progress and timeline, you should have a strong organizational process, be an excellent communicator, enjoy managing multiple tasks, have strong problem-solving aptitude and apply a critical eye for accuracy of details.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business leaders to translate a project idea into a defined project with goals, objectives and scope.

  • Provide visibility to projects and milestones by producing and communicating concise project plans. Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks, and timely delivery.

  • Organize and guide the activities of cross-functional project teams. Ensure that project members’ time and experience is well utilized. Recommend alternatives/options to minimize delay.

  • Proactively identify barriers and resolve issues. Determine contingency plans (executing as needed) while mitigating risk. Escalate issues appropriately for awareness and/or additional support.

  • Manage changing priorities and resolve resource conflicts with a flexible and responsive approach.

  • Establish and maintain open, cooperative, productive cross-functional relationships on current projects and deliverables and prepare for future project opportunities. Foster an open-door culture with an emphasis on continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders, teams, and resources outside of team to capitalize on additional talent and experience.

  • Ensure that project documentation is complete, current and archived appropriately.

  • Monitor and ensure completion of team's time tracking including monthly reporting.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience with a focus in Project Management with knowledge/understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to develop and leverage relationships with customers, business leaders and other team members.

  • Ability to successfully utilize methodology, tools and templates for managing, tracking and completing projects.

  • Effectively articulate difficult ideas and concepts through clear and concise verbal and written communication.

  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment.

  • Solid analytical, planning, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Collaborative, team-building leadership style.

  • Exceptional conflict-resolution and negotiation skills.

  • Experience leading large business and/or technology projects that required interfacing with and influencing customers, business leaders and other team members.

  • Experience and proficiency with project management software (ClickUp, Jira, Trello, etc).

  • Understand base technology and its limitations and potential.

  • Understanding and/or desire to learn travel industry and technology.

  • Occasional travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated <10%).
