How You’ll Shine

As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key leadership role within our Hospitality Finance team, overseeing corporate accounting activities across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. You will be responsible for maintaining strong financial governance, leading a geographically dispersed accounting team, and partnering closely with senior finance and operational leaders to support business performance.

This role offers a blend of hands-on technical accounting, people leadership, and strategic collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing corporate accounting team across Bundall and Clark locations
  • Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with group policies and accounting standards
  • Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors and professional advisors
  • Ensure all taxation obligations are met across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, including GST, BAS, FBT, income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing requirements
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
  • Coordinate the preparation and lodgement of annual and half-year statutory financial reports
  • Maintain robust financial controls and identify opportunities to strengthen control environments
  • Oversee intercompany accounting processes and ensure appropriate controls are in place
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for club and resort operations
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and support informed decision-making
  • Foster a strong team culture aligned with company values, ensuring staff capability, engagement, and ongoing development

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting with CA or CPA certification
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing accounting teams
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise (IFRS experience essential)
  • Solid taxation knowledge across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience working in complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environments
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet regular reporting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hospitality or resort industry experience highly regarded
