The Director of Sales Enablement is a strategic leadership role focused on optimizing sales team performance across a diverse portfolio of travel products and services, including resort inventory, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, hotels, and exclusive travel offerings. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth and improving conversion.
This role will develop and execute enablement strategies that empower our sales teams to effectively communicate value, convert leads, and support customer retention across various membership tiers and travel experiences. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-million-dollar organization that blends travel, hospitality, and lifestyle with innovative membership models.
How You'll Shine:
- Develop and implement a holistic sales enablement strategy that aligns with the organization’s travel product offerings, including resort, hotel, cruise, and all-inclusive vacation inventory, as well as exclusive members-only travel experiences.
- Design and manage innovative enablement programs, including sales playbooks, scripting, product training, objection handling, and consultative selling strategies tailored to travel and hospitality.
- Partner with sales operations leadership, marketing, product, operations, and training teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, pricing, promotions, and campaign execution.
- Lead a high-performing enablement team responsible for content creation, continued education, and performance coaching, with a focus on selling to closed user groups and members.
- Implement and optimize use of sales enablement platforms, CRMs, learning management systems, and data-driven tools that increase sales efficiency and productivity.
- Develop training for multiple sales channels, including inbound/outbound contact centers.
- Track, analyze, and report on key enablement KPIs such as sales cycle length, ramp time, conversion rates, and quota attainment, and refine programs based on performance and ROI.
- Stay up to date with industry trends in travel, hospitality, and loyalty programs, bringing new ideas and best practices into the sales enablement ecosystem.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel requirements can vary based on business need. On average, the travel time expectation for this position is up to 35% each year.
What You'll Bring:
- BA/BS Business, Management or Marketing (or similar fields)
- Deep understanding of selling travel products such as cruises, hotels, all-inclusive vacations, and exclusive resort packages.
- Experience supporting sales organizations that cater to membership-based programs and closed user groups.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Passion for travel and a customer-first mindset.
- Able to deal effectively with a wide range of people and cultures; compelling writing and oral communication skills; solid understanding of hospitality and travel technology systems, able to lead and motivate teams; proven organizational skills needed to deliver, on time, to a wide range of customers.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement technologies.
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or membership industries.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
